Developing a Culture of Practitioner Research: Growing Teacher Expertise

At 三期内必开一期, we have a strong tradition of evidence-informed practice (EIP) and developing our teachers through our Pedagogy Champion Practitioner Research programme, which is now in its ninth year.
There are several key areas to consider when planning for and implementing a practitioner research programme to support a culture of EIP. Studies show that solving issues of accessibility and relevance, employing collaboration, providing adequate time, all supported by a leadership culture that values and facilitates research-informed practice are the key ingredients for effective evidence-informed practice.
